Noctis was abandoned at birth, soon after he was taken up by a member of the Red Faith where he was raised in city of Mordsgrad. Often people saw him as trouble, mischievous at best and at worst a thief. Most people would call him Nox, though mentors and elders would call him by his full name. People of the city knew him to be a night dweller, sitting on perches, and climbing buildings just to get a good glance of the moon for the night. Sure, people would scold him for the act, but there was something always calming about gazing into the stars. Soon after his eighteenth birthday, he set out to try and provide for himself. Nox would pick up odd end jobs around various towns and cities, anything that would pay. After some time, he grew particularly fond of building after taking various construction side jobs. Project after project, he found himself with callused hands, and bright ambitions. As night fell he sat there, hands by the fire and eyes to the skies, “Oh, such a wonderful night”.
