Biography::
Born in Auguston in 1611, Rudi Servatius was the second of three children, younger brother to Roland Servatius and older brother of Adelina Servatius. The Servatius' were not a rich family, but the Servatius siblings hardly knew want as children, their father being a well-off merchant. Unlike his brother, Rudi was very much interested in the typical activities of a Heartlander youth. He enjoyed sparring with his friends, teasing his siblings, and hunting (though he was hardly ever able to pursue this passion with his family living in the capital).
Rudi's father was proud of his boy, and in many ways, Rudi was the perfect son. Though, when his father attempted to encourage Rudi to join the Empire's guard he declined in favor of a more down-to-earth lifestyle and left the city at the age of seventeen. From 1628 to the present day he has lived away from civilization, but as frost creeps over Tahn the reclusive man must now reconvene with his family, and his countrymen, for survival. He makes his way to Adelburg, where his brother Roland has been living as a medic.
