I find it hilarious this topic is still somehow being talked about as this was still a f*cked issue back 4+ years ago when I was the Halfling leader. Every single iteration of Halfling leader has had to deal with this. It's f*cking exhausting, and makes no sense in the first place. Receiving false hope and having it dangled over the eyes of whatever prospective Halfling NL exists at the time before then once again the wee community is forced into a state of oversaturation in order to appease the funny server numbers of a platform that really is not struggling to maintain its concurrency due to the attachment of nostalgia people have. There's a plethora of easy fixes, and also a level of common sense that can just be applied.

There's no issue with saying that you need evidence in order to ban someone for being a pedo. A wrongful convicting is awful.

But also it doesn't take a f*cking FBI rocket scientists to figure out some people are bad. Knowing someone is a creep, and then not going through the steps to rid of them is complacency in the issue.

         Transfiguration

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Transfiguration is an Alteration which involves the manipulation and alteration of magic throughout the ever-present environment. Via the use of equivalent exchange, and other pre-existing knowledges, a Magi uses their ability feel the very mana and what not to help with their ability to Transmute, Enchant, and Abjure the surroundings around them whether for combative or utility purposes.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Voidal Feeling – The act of sending mana into an object in order to learn more about its properties, a form of meditative moment between a Magi and an object to ascertain knowledge. 

Transmutation – Through complete understanding of an object, transmutation is the process of being able to modify and alter the properties of that specified object in order to give it different properties.

Enchanting – The act of inserting a series of spells into an object, often giving it the ability to deal in ways which are fueled by the magical energy that it has in question.

Abjuration/Warding – The process of expelling a form of mana into the air in order to confuse and ward different forms of mana cast by others. A form of anti-magic which works to either ward or dissipate spells in question.

Fusion: Non-Combative

[Connection]: [!] The elven figure begins to take a deep breath. The air of Eastern Hub slowly filling into his nostrils as a relaxing tune echoes within his mind. The elf opening his eyes only to expel a darkened red glow. The man's crimson aura crackling slightly as it sheens across his shoulders and upper back, showing himself as a Magi.

[Scale Emote]: [!] The man goes then in toe to grab a small series of ball bearings. One being of copper and the other of tin. Laces of magical tethers quickly wrapping around that of the different bearings in general as they look to make clear and fully envelope the objects in general. 

[Charge]: [!] A deep brow, brimming with sweat would take form as the Magi in general begins to slowly bring the two balls together. Slowly pushing the two metals against one another as it almost feels as though their surfaces become somewhat softer due to the mana present in general. The man letting out a deep series of grunts as he continues to apply pressure, slowly attempting to morph the two together.

[Completed]: [!] And then in toe, after a moment the duo of balls would congeal into one slightly bigger bearing. The two having congealed together in order to make that of a bronze ball bearing, able to be used... or most likely sold to some strange bronzesmith. Oh wait... - Oh well, the man has the ball in general and lets out a deep exhale, intending to use such for later.

- "I am here to teach you, now stand up." the man clarifies. Going on to bring in a deep breath before spitting outwards. "Come now. Take a breath and focus upon this spot just before you. Think about pushing your very aura into this gem. After such, I want you to almost ground yourself, as if you're pooling your very mana into this gem.... and then /poof/, ENCHANT IT! Filling it with an encapsulation of a spell you have knowledge of" he exclaims, making a form of mystical flourish with his hands.

+ "Uuuhmm.... Okay!" the lad exclaims, the strange little fellah deciding to grapple his malformed digits into the rock before then connecting himself into the void. His breaths staggering as he goes into a full focus and pools his blue aura into the very entity infront of his figure. 

- "Now remember, you need complete line of sight, you need to feel the very magic within your hands, and you need to truly COMPREHEND with your very soul dear lad. None of this fake mumbo-jumbo-happenstance." he explains, then tapping the rock slightly, "Now, send a good amount of mana into the stone, as if it were a conduit for your magical energy."

+ The kid nods, not able to keep his usual strange phrases as he appears to be drenched in sweat from having to focus. Though soon enough as they clench hard and harder onto the gem... a distorted feeling fumbles amongst the rock and then BAM, it begins to glow with a rejuvenated energy. Filled with a simple Fire Evocation spell which they had already known. The gem now able to heat up when activated. The lad lets out a surprised "Ah!" he exclaims... soonafter falling over to his stomach in exhaustion...

- "FANTASTIC!... That was lesson one. Now do it 50 more times until you truly understand." he explains, placing another enchantable metal into the kid's hands.

+ The kid looks heavily worried.. the slightest twitch in his eyes as he is ALREADY exhausted. A much longer session of exhaustion awaits him.... 

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

If during the process of teaching, then it's simple enough to adjust. A mere message: "Hey, you incorrectly emote'd x, y, z," and let them know how to change it for the future. Mistakes are going to naturally be made during the original magic teaching process as some people don't understand the conceptual jump.

If after teaching, and the lore break is something which I had made clear to the student and they just blatantly ignored such: then I would make clear what the issue with their RP was and show ST wherein what they did was communicated by myself if needed for such. Possibly dropping the student if the lore break is EXTREMELY egrigious. Otherwise, newbie magic students make mistakes.

If it's a misunderstanding by myself that I DIDNT make clear to them, then that is my fault as a teacher and I should take the ST flak for such in full.

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Translocation, (after being merged with Voidal Shifting), is the art of moving items/objects/people across the void. A Voidal Alteration Magic which involves de-materializing objects via pulling from the void itself to move and project them around. This works via the Translocator using 'anchors', in which the Magi is able to link the Material Realm and the Void together in order to make pathways between the two.

Expatriation – The construction and deconstruction of objects in the void. Via understanding objects a Magi is able to go through the process of rapidly deconstructing items so that way the Magi is able to call upon them for later use.

Shifting – The teleportation of organisms and objects through the Void. The process of instead quickly expatriating between the void, and using it as a passageway between an anchor.

The elf's brow begins to sweat as a deep sigh of cold air leaves him, feeling slightly pardoned by the Voidal Poisoning within his blood. A stray look onto the apple nearby him.

[Focus/Telegraph]: [!] Eventually, the strands of mana would fill into the male's neighboring Apple. Making the softest 'buzz'-ing noise, as the elven magi gestures a few fingers onto the anchor in question. Beginning to slowly channel voidal energy through and into the man's fruit of prospect.

[Teleport]: [!] In the next moment, the apple would fade from the world with a slight 'bzzt', and in that same instant blink over the Mali's Grandson's head... smacking down onto his forehead. The man snickers to himself, way too proud of his lackluster accomplishment...

Keep in mind that there are certain affirmed ERPers and paedophiles whom got admin and moderator permission to continue to play on the server DESPITE admitting to it in the past on the forums! That being said i’d point at the problems of people with bad sexual history whom are both on staff and on server to be a disgusting fault of moderation and administration as a whole seeing as how some of these reports have been overlooked by multiple admins/mods with some even justifiying the behavior. For reference btw, I haven’t actually spoken to Muffins in months. I’m coming out mainly for the simple reasoning of pointing out that alotta the ‘scummier’ **** which people are bringing up is either mis-represented or the fault of multiple other admins.

Personal opinion btw, probably a tad bit controversial given the hate train we got going on here as I see people commenting who are coming out of the woodwork just for upvoting this post. People whom were caused forms of grief due to Muffin’s existence and actions (whether they’re justified or not). Im speaking from a position noting Muffins as a regular human being rather than just corporate robot. Given the many forms of emotional turmoil and manipulation i’ve heard which have been cast on the girl, alongside the many staff and player shitposters that make fun of her at every waking turn, I just gotta make clear that some of the hate that gets flung at Muffins might possibly be some of the most targeted form of playerbase bullying i’ve ever seen on this platform.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I do not believe Muffins should be an admin. I’m not gunna comment on any of the things involving bias/incompetence/bullying, however I feel as though the claims stating she protects pedophiles and ERPers is insanely out of it’s gourd. She is biased and in ways not at all properly qualified for such a position, however tbf there are many others in positions of power whom are much worse and/or much more corrupt in my personal opinion. 

If you wanted to make this report alot more interesting you could have brought up how Telanir had basically chosen Muffins as an admin immediately as whom he was going to give the CT position before the packages even came out (in a lovely form of CT coup against TarreBear) but obviously that doesn’t make this report and less invalid. 

This is just my personal 2 cents as someone whom I guess would have considered myself friends with Muffins. She has lots of cons and is certainly not fitted for the position, but she is the type of person whose able to get easily manipulated and strongarmed into following orders because of certain other people.

Personally IDM there being things like ‘Mayor’ or whatever though I will just say it’s a pain in the ass from an OOC perspective to get anything done when you have a ‘council’. That’s how the government was back on Dunshire and there was a reason that I went and couped it when I became the Sheriff. People fall into inactivity, and then the whole ordeal of progression grinds to a halt.

Now, that all being said I think that concurrently with the level of halfling activity there is it could very easily be given a form of leadership tiering system, though that’s up for you to decide. Personally the ideal of ‘’’’communist’’’’ but not really halflings was always peak levels of governmental system for me, inspired lots of cool RP, though when you get into elections you run the risk of stuff getting very mucky or what not

As well there’s all these cool jobs, though I wouldn’t stress over immediately filling them or completely relying on them. Adding too much bureaucracy is just gunna stress things out rather than get stuff truly ‘productive’. Just vibe and RP

Within the darkness of an olden hovel in the far reaches of the Arcasian landscape.. a simple young lad with an array of sharp teeth snickers as he runs into his abysmal ‘home’. The burrow could be describe as somewhat of a thrown together cave in relativity to that of a normal halfling hovel, though to the little lad it’s nothing more but a beautiful space for him to train his body, mind, and soul. 

The little kiddo pours himself a glass of milk into a oak cup... taking a sip before then nearly spit-taking all across the nearby counter and stonewall. “BLEGH... Mastah yeh cannae leave ‘his on ou’ yaknow!” The little fellah grumbles to himself, use to the incompetency of his own form of ‘lackluster’ guardian... though something feels much stranger today. As he onlooks the simple rocking chair of his darkskinned, one eyed master... he isn’t drunk but simply onlooking a picture proudly displayed in a frame. His unkept and callused finger rubs across the cloudy glass... as a strange huff leaves his throat, as if a hardship in being able to properly breathe. A cough goes along the room, and soonafter the fellow turns his head...

”Hrmmahg... Dango?” he asks outwards to the room... unsure if he’s being buglarized or if someone is actually there. It doesn’t truly matter to him either way, the sensation of the world around him leaves the olden boomer of a weefolk with nothing but a blur. “Yeh... yeh ‘here lad?” he grumbles.. the completely unshaven and scraggily beard of his own poking out in places as he onlooks the kid.

The small youngling just simply nods. “EhhhHhh.. Mastah yeh alroigh’ ‘here eh? Yah no’ yah usual ermmm.. ‘bubbleh’-self tahday?” asks the newly adult. He simply blinks his eyes together in question. He /expects/ to walk into a room where the ebony-man details a bunch of stuff in gibberish and teaches him the next lesson he requires, though yet the oddly almost macabre seriousness which bounces across the walls could be said to be so thick a knife could cut it apart.

“Dango? Can yeh do meh a favor kiddo?” eventually leaves the mentor’s lips. The skin chapped and eye twinged red as he speaks.. pointing to a girl along in the photo. “Yew see ‘his girleh ‘ere eh?”

The little one looks towards the picture, quite confused as he looks at someone whom is CERTAINLY not the man before him. Two cute little twins, one rambunctious and one struggling to see properly as her face is filled with nothing but nervousness and shock. “Ehhhh... yeh?”

”Go foind ‘er. Yeh wanna save people now dontcha, aye?” the olden man simply coughs, forced to put the picture down for a moment as wet muckus rolls alongside his throat... a disgusting fit leaving him before he tacks on “You’ve got meh trainin’... an’ yer a special kid. Originally Metzli was going to be killed through a f*cking forum post. This was absolutely and completely unable to be changed given the dynamic of the ST at the time. People can not argue this, for it is literally right here: 

I, along with the ideal to kill Aeriel, believed this to be f*cking stupid. I didn’t even think Aeriel, Iblees, or Metztli should die. Now- people can throw as much shade at my events as they want. Im not even going to act like i’m a mastermind ET as some people like to label me as or anything. I’m very aware Athera didnt go perfect yadayadayada insert inflamatory rep-post roast comment below- we get it.

The point I am trying to make is that, originally the transfer of Metztli to whoever the **** was going to be handled so poorly and un-interactive that I could not f*cking stand it. It undermined so many player’s RP. The original (dont know if it was voided or not) RP death of Iblees was f*cking laughable. The mega antagonist of LOTC was killed by a UNNAMED FELLOW and then his corpse fragmants fucked up the veil or... something????????????

Now IDK if this relates into the current Inferni eventline, people will probably throw up whatever the ****, however the LT wanted to keep the ‘Deaths’ of these gods away from people. I was personally told despite being ET Manager by Flamboyant that I was not allowed to do closure events for Metzlti, Iblees, or Aeriel. Despite the Ascended being shelved, despite the pleas of multiple people, even the most MINISCULE of interactions were completely denied.

It is for this reason that I basically said ‘Yeah f*ck this’ and added in interactable states for these gods in my events anyways. As well, along with the approval of other such people including Flamboyant I had Valaen in the Athera event. *(Im aware Valaen’s last event was ******* stupid, that was done after I left with approval I didnt give, yadayada, wasnt suppose to be that autistic*)

The Stone of Metztli being given out was something approved by Flambo. I asked him alongside some other people if it was plausible. I am no lore-buff. I joined in 6.0- I can’t be f*cked to look through the multiple iterations of MOSTLY RETCONNED and changed lore to see if the puzzle peices were to make it allowed. I dont know and still dont know if the Stone was ever destroyed officially in lore, nobody ever brought it up, it was approved by mangement sooo /shrug.

As for me ‘Killing of Metztli’ – I never killed metztli off. Athera nor my events itself ever killed the Catgirl. TECHNICALLY- VIA THE LORE THE LT WROTE HERE: 

 
Metztli was already dead! This is what I mean. A completely uninteractive forum post which blows back and away a deity of a huge race and culture with a snap of a few fingers. 

Now- I personally have no idea wtf Atrex is on about in the google docs and whatever about a possible replacement of Metzlti- I wasn’t touching that. The original ordeal was I had some storyline involving Valaen and Metz, which was gunna explain to the concurrent Kha as to what happened through a ACTUAL EVENT rather than the Kha playerbase being clueless as to the fact their god just f*cking disappeared. These events- even though unfinished due to the Hidden Admin ordeal- is where the Stone of Metz was given out.

My events were nothing but me trying to remedy and make fun out of the decisions that the Lore Team decided to make.

I wouldn’t be a controversial comeback if I didn’t go ahead and just tack on rq, the shelfing of Kha is pretty dumb. I don’t care about Furrypeople RP but there’s no reason to just gank something when plenty of people have RP’d them. They’re a fun niche, like halflings. All it takes is 1 person, and a niche like Hou, Kha, Wonks, Halflings, etc could be turned into something fantastic... why close off these avenues?

We saw people like Salty go and make a beautiful Jungle Island with the Hou-Zi, there was speckles of Kha groupings here and there, the Halfling playerbase through the efforts of less than 3 people has gone from nothingness back in early Atlas to being an actually established settlement. 

Ignoring the fact IK that the ST have problems with certain Kha players, it’s no justification to just completely ******* gouge out the entire race. Spin it six ways from Sunday, it’s just the gacking of niches that people don’t like.

Nonetheless since my magic was listed and as such I got 2 f*cking pings I feel compelled to comment.

Reading this gives me a flavor of what i wanted to do with Unsound before those ideas were basically denied and the magic was forced into a hardcore gimmick zone in order for it to be accepted (not an exaggeration). If it weren't for obvious reasons id rewrite Unsound from scratch and enter in the new components that I wanted to see get passed through- though obviously I won't be doing that any time soon. If any cool LT or player wants to do that though feel free to hmu in my PMs.

Nonetheless the lore is good void edge. I still wanna see a proper subsection of void magic called "corruption" or whatever for the voidal arts which **** with the soul and are borderline dark magics but perhaps that will come with time.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

What are Phantoms? Good question. The intended point of the abyssal creatures which walk throughout the very lands of Arcas and the Material Plane is that they are the lingering souls of figures who were brutally and/or tragically murdered. There are four types of Phantoms: Revenant, Poltergeist, Spectors, and Gravens.

Phantoms are metaphysical creations which are only truly effected by other tools made from aurum- or from magical capabilities which stem from voidal connections. Most other items will phase right through the translucent figure of a Phantom and simply not effect them. The four subtypes of a Phantom are more indepth as follows -

Revenant - A soul which is not able to reach the afterlife, mostly due to the sheer confusion upon reawakening. The have no memory as to how they died, and this stage lasts for most Phantoms for 1 OOC week until they turn into one of the other 3 subtypes upon realizing how they did indeed die. Grey in hue they show signs of tear and physical tamper in locations in which they died. Possibly signs of stab wounds or deep burns across one’s visage as to show scars from where a murderer had brutually stabbed one to death.

Poltergeists – Poltergeists are the most aggressive of the Phantom types, not accepting of their death and red/black in hue they will lash out and attack whatever due to the pure rage and ire inspired in their soul due to the knowledge of how they died.

Spectors – This Phantom subtype is alot more peaceful than that of a Poltergeist, appearing in blue shades they are accepting of what has happened to them, and find ease in their new ethereal form.

Graven – Gravens are different from the other 3 subtypes because they are not comprised of ectoplasm. They are husks driven by 1 simple goal and will do WHATEVER they must in order to see that goal be followed out... no matter the cost.

General Redlines:

- All Ghosts suffer mental illnesses such as being bipolar, personality disorders, up to PSTD due to their state of being.. well – dead.

- Poltergeists and Specter may have major events that occur that will make them switch from one form of Phantom to another.
- They may pass through aurum dust but will feel sincere agony from such. 

- Ghosts are unable to pass by SOLID lines of aurum due to their spectral form. 

- They cannot phase through walls or gates if they cannot access them mechanically. Mechanical Default of MC applies. 

- They cannot learn nor use magic of any kind.

- They cannot become other creatures no matter what.
