Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A seed or spore very rarely slips through the fae ring into the mortal realm from the Fae realm. If this manages to grow, it takes the form of a mundane tree, mushroom, flower, etc. It will drawn descendants closer to it, with the purpose of making them fall asleep next to it. Whoever falls asleep next to it will quickly be cocooned by the plant, eventually having all their body remade out of plant matter. The plant person that this fae plant creates is what is called an Epiphyte.

After being turned into an epiphyte by the fae plant, the descendant will look like the fae plant that turned them while also keeping most of their original features (at least before their first rebirth). They can move their body like a normal descendant, regardless of the fae plant that turned them. Because of this, they are more prone to cutting than before. They also can't regrow lost limbs on their own, though a Druid that is not themselves can regrow a limb with the 'Blooming' spell. No medical or poisonous property is passed to the epiphyte, but they always have access to their plant who does keep the properties. They burn as well as any well-hydrated plant. Dryads (turned by a fae tree) and Bryophytes (turned by a fae herbaceous plant) need sunlight, or else they get sick. Saprophytes (turned by fae fungi) are the opposite, getting sick if they have too much light. Becoming an epiphyte does not change the descendant's lifespan. An epiphyte can bleed out like a normal descendant, their blood being sap or any other liquid that would come from a plant. They are able to learn any magic that is not voidal. Voidal magic breaks down their bodies under extended exposure.

Epiphytes go through something called a rebirth every 25 to 50 years. This rebirth consists of the epiphyte basically dying and being reborn out of their hollowed body. The new body can have any lost limbs recovered, this is the only way to get them back without a druid. They are basically a child, but they grow very fast through the course of a year (1 irl week). They can't use any magic until they are fully grown, regardless of their age before the rebirth. All memories can be passed to the new body, but it can be decided oocly to not have all of them. With each rebirth, they look more and more like the plant that turned them. These appearance changes should stop by the sixth rebirth, where they look the most like their plant. At the end of their lifespan, they die like any other race.

Epiphytes have a very strong connection to their plant. Anything that happens to the plant will also happen to the epiphyte, and vice versa. If one of them is sick or hurt, it will be reflected on the other. This connection is so strong that the epiphyte will know where their plant is at all times. Their relationship can be compared to a parent and a child. The epiphyte will do all it can to protect it, though a strong willed epiphyte may resist this instinct at times. When in close proximity, the epiphyte can communicate with their fae plant. They can share feelings in much more detail than any other descendants could. This ability to communicate can't be used to metagame. Epiphytes can produce any number of seeds of the type of plant that their fae plant took shape of, which they often spread around where they go. They can also produce a single seed to grow a fae plant like the one that turned them, though they are limited to one. If they try to produce another fae seed, the first one dies and is unable to grow.

Epiphytes don't have a good reaction to blight. If they or their plant get blighted, it will spread to the other. A blighted epiphyte will go mad and attempt to spread the blight to others, attacking anyone they see. If one of the two is healed by a blight healer, it will heal the other.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Ines' fae plant is a Nigua tree, so she is a Dryad Epiphyte. All her skin is wooden, her hair being mostly leaves with a few clusters of the flowers the tree is known for. The sclera of her eyes is an unusual brown color, her pupil being the same olive color she had before becoming an epiphyte.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Musin are small and fluffy mouse creatures with a few human-like features. Their fur can be tan, brown, gray, orange, black, and white (some of them have a combination of two of these colors). Their height can range from 1'8 to 2'6. Their eyes can be black, pink or red. They have two incisors larger than the rest of their teeth, which are basically their only way of defending themselves. Compared to the Ratiki, their senses are much better suited for the surface, though their eyesight is still not as good during the day as other races.

They are omnivores, but they tend to prefer other things more than meat. Since they try to fit in in the modern world more than the Ratiki, they make sure to keep themselves clean and dress with romanticized versions of decendants' clothing. Because they take such good care of themselves, they live more than the Ratiki. They live to 70 years old, with the oldest on recorded living up to 78. One of the only differences between a young and old musin is the lost of pigment on their paws and tail.

Musin are considered the weakest sentient race in Almaris. They are small and weak in comparison with other races. Their only advantage is their dexterity. Because of their size, they can easily dodge most attacks. The downside is that if they get hit, it is immobilizing at best, fatal at worst. In all situations where a musin gets in a physical conflict, it is best for the small creature to flee. In very few occasions can they actually contribute something if they fight. Small daggers are one of the only weapons they are able to use, being the equivalent of a shortsword for them. Because of their lesser souls, they can't learn many types of magic. Luckily, their lesser souls are not a problem if they want to learn Housemagery or Bardmancy. They have dropped many things since they left the Ratikin, but the urge to reuse things they find is always present.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Pepper has white fur with gray patches around her body. She dons a white blouse with a green collar and green lining on the end of it's short sleeves. The back of her head is adorned with a green bow, with another brownish burgundy bow on her chest. Right above her green plated skirt, bellow her blouse, is a brownish burgundy cloth that is tied around her waist. She also has brownish burgundy ballet pumps.
