Thanks, I wasn’t in that discord anymore because talking sorta stopped and Ryloth just went on with writing.  As I said, this is criticism on accuracy in my document. I’ll give it a look and see if it needs editing. The whole point is to get actually logical information and for the ST to defend their side as same goes for the players

the reason why I even posted the document publicly was to make the whole process transparent from all groups. I can’t do it perfectly, I’m not a saint, neither were the ones who I have worked with on some occasions.

though this was made to answer and sort of contain the discussion to a central point where I’ll distribute as much answers from my side (as a Kha player) and where ST are free to do the same from their side. Also just goes for players. It’s already out in the open anyway

The only reason the kha were in the loregames discord server at all were because it was requested by the kha (specifically EnderMaiashiro) because they felt like they would benefit from the resource in getting a rewrite done on their own terms. In that time that they were in the discord, I was one of the LT overseeing and monitoring many of the chats. The kha players in the chat seemed far less interested in the child feral rp and all-fours walking and more interested in granting themselves buffs, extending their lifespans, and becoming elf-cats biologically, and the LT present tried to gently pull them away from these things, but were ignored and argued against time and again. If they would rewrite suggested parts, they ended up just changing something around to try to say they fixed it or actually made them even worse/more overpowered than the prior writing they’d suggested/submitted. They weren’t the worst chat in there to deal with and monitor by far, but they were uniquely frustrating to work with, very obviously not willing to change any issues of stuffing in power that the LT had and just either, and it seemed only that much more infuriating because it was entirely voluntary on their parts. They did not need to be in the lore games at all.

I indeed remember how Ryloth persisted on buffing our race Which lended him a ban of the lore games. I was there as well. I was more focused on getting our race just generally more interesting with though. I worked very long with Killmatronix on that to make it how he wanted it. Until Ryloth pushed out his rewrite, which he put my name on as well. Because some of the things I wrote were copy pasted into that rewrite of his

A very valid point. We are going to school again, myself included. Also I indeed forgot to put my own activity on the document which I shall do soon. But I personally would have phrased it different and more objective. That is just me, appreciate the backup tho

I had made the suggestion 10 days ago, having been tired of watching the kharajyr as a race fall on their face in terms of activity and possibilities of unity multiple times over (including the times before the current group). I’m not sure if Ryloth wanted to get people to side with him on miscommunication or not, but I don’t want to fault him for that.

I personally have never heard of these other kha players before, but I’m a bit concerned about the “active” part of the screenshots, let’s do the math down the list really quick:

• Radzig (18 hours in the past week) → about 2 ½ hours a day.
• gameingg (3 ½ hours in the past week) → ½ an hour a day.
• Cloudiwolf (rounding up to 18 hours in the past week) → about 2 ½ hours a day.
• Shvorky (5 hours in the past week) → about 43 minutes a day.
• Pintape (1 hour in the last week) → 8 ½ minutes a day.
• Postmaster_ (1 hour in the last week) → 8 ½ minutes a day.
• todd_the_cat (26 minutes in the past week) → about 4 minutes a day.
• Crevel  (3 hours in the past week) → about 26 minutes a day.
• Aeschylus_ (11 hours in the past week) → a hour and a half per day.
• SoulReapingWolf (1 hour in the past week) → 8 ½ minutes a day.
• JustGrimlin (34 hours in the past week) → Almost 5 hours a day (Most active)

Now with that statistic we should keep in mind that there may have been days where they didn’t log on at all, maybe because work or starting a new semester at school, and that’s reasonable. However I would only consider a player in a playerbase active if they had at least 7 hours per week (1 hour a day, which includes being AFK, doesn’t have to all be played at the same time). Only four people on that list meet that minimum. Just one over the estimate of active players I had stated. Also as a note I hadn’t included Chaos here because there was no /seen to determine the hours per week played.

 

Back to the original suggestion I had given – it was one where you would be able to keep your characters (their memories, their age, everything), but other changes would be made. No PK involved or anything along those lines. And I did mention a poll, however it wasn’t supposed to be just for the ST themselves – what I was intending there was to get a poll about how all the current Kharajyr felt on the topic alongside the ST’s opinion.

To start on another point about the lore itself: Kharajyr didn’t need to make a rewrite for the Lore Games, so it being denied doesn’t really matter to the situation. Sure a clarification post could be made and given the thumbs-up by the ST, but it wasn’t really needed. On another note through reading though regarding hou-zi as being creations of Metzli, they also should be meeting the same fate as the Kharajyr if everything is going along with the proposal I had given unless the ST / Admins decide on another way as I stated before.

although I can appreciate how deep you went into research with this. i wanna state a few points

-the reason for the rewrite in the first place was to amend furry status and get more organized and a more central point of bob our lore and culture. 
 

-We had about 5 Active cities/districts this map. And still have more active hours  and players than the Hou-zin and wonks combibed

-Kha are a CA and we tried to make the race more interesting by rewriting it. But also because we are a CA, we shouldn’t be expected to master 20+ rallies with ease because of the limitations on our CA

-Something I wanna mention is that we never asked for Metztli to be shelved. Flam did it and it was never fixed by ST that followed. Though I don’t give ST under Flam the blame of the shelving of Metztli, but Flam and Mystery.

-All CA’s are under review, Hou-zi are as well. So are all the others so its just a case of Kha being hit first

-I don’t know what else you have experienced as a Kha or how long you were one. But I think you see this shelve more as a mercy kill. Where as I am distraught to find the race I had many plans for to generate moderate activity, up for possible shelving. Though that is just our specific mindsets.

So as I stated earlier and have talked about with you in PM’s. This part was not written by me. I have been editting the document in order to make it more objective instead of just being mad and saying so like ten times in the document. Ryloth wrote this, and Joel told me to skim most of the things he wrote in the document before I should even present it to the admins. This accidentally slipped past me before I went to work it seems

I did not write that part. It was something Rylothh had made which I was supposed to remove from Joel before making this document present worthy. It unfortunately slipped past me it seems before I went to work. It should be fixed now

It was made by me and I update it as we go on in order to keep the information inside updated. I have put some good stuff in there and even was advised to forward it to the admins by Joel just now after I proved that Kha had an active playerbase. I’ll also announce it publicly. I have skimmed down on a lot of unusual anger I had when originally writing it as well. It should contain the latest and most objective form of information in it. It’s also important that the admins read this and I’ll be forwarding it to them as well. It proves that Kha are active and that Metztli should not be used as the prime reason for them to get shelved. Please leave (constructive)criticism  for me  in the comments if there are mistakes in it.

yes, indeed. I can show in a screenshot that Llir told Ryloth admins will be voting on it soon. Though, I can only do that once I am home

Khas should be shelved simply put and I think unless a CA race can sustain themselves massively, they shouldn’t exist. Furries shouldn’t exist on Lotc, is just allows cringe RPers to RP out their furry fantasy. 

But Kharajyr accent has been removed ages ago. We literally removed the UwU accent for a reason. And on the note of activity, Kharajyr have had enough players this map to sustain themselves 5 cities/districts total. But nearing the end of the map, we aren’t much in a grace period as of now.  We have proven to be an interesting niche throughout the entire map but now we get to kick the bucket because we aren’t occupying a full on city right now. Even with our 12 active players.

 The Metz’Chanca Caravan is a traditional trading caravan that is run by several Kharajyr who live by the Traditional Culture. We are looking for more companions to come travel the cities with us. Of course, we specifically invite any other Kharajyr to provide them a home, work, and food as it is our duty as fellow kin. We are willing to do the same for some specific other individuals that are not Kharajyr. Though, we will most likely brandish those people ‘Soul-Kha’ stating that they are great friends to us by our culture laws. 

We offer work, access to various goods and wares,  a room in our new headquarters location that is being setup, and a warm welcome.  Besides, we also offer you the ability to travel around the realm in our group as we move from one location to another one  almost every Elven week or in some cases, two Elven weeks.

-The Scorned Blockade-

A scouting report written by Rha’kir

It is to this one’s dismay that he will have to deliver mostly bad news in regards to the Inferi.  Two Elven days ago, this one organized a scout team to enter the Korvassa. We were with a total of  5 members, whom this one will list. Brave warriors, each one of them.

Our group  gathered at the gates of Sutica, where we discussed tactics and the plan. The plan was simple, at first. We would cross the bridge connecting Korvassa and the mainland. We would move over to set up camp and scout whatever was left of the old city of Thyra. We assumed the rubble and ruins would be perfect to take cover at. We expected to find information within the rubble. We  speculated that the ground could be perfect for certain defenses to secure the bridge, considering it is a direct but fragile line that connects both us and the Inferi.

“We were wrong”

As we traveled onward and crossed the bridge to Korvassa, we quickly found what this one has decided to call The Scorned Blockade. When we arrived, we quickly found a large wall complete with working gate to be set up, blocking entrance from the bridge. The wall did not stretch much in length but trying to jump in the water and walk around it would not have been an option. There were  A few dozen Inferi Troops  lined up behind the wall. If we had attempted to walk around, they would have just impaled us the second we tried to climb upon the  shore.

Upon arrival, we also encountered a large Olog who tagged along for the ride.  There was no way around and we did not give up. Our shaman, Qudlia Jusmia protectetd by Lenora, proceeded to summon a large Earth Elemental to aid us with lifting the gate. Unfortunately, this one never got the Olog’s name but he helped us try and lift the gate.  In the end,  The Inferi themselves lifted the gate to challenge us head on. We were exposed like this and their archers took the opportunity to shoot us down, yet we were lucky with the Earth Elemental ‘s arms around us. Though, that was not the largest problem. These Winged Inferi flew above our heads. They continued to lay a barrage of fallen debris over us. This one does not know where they got those pieces of rock precisely but the debris could have come from Thyra.

Unfortunately, we never made it to the ruins of Thyra. The many Inferi guarding The Scorned Blockade proved too much for our scouting team, even with an Olog and the Earth Elemental.  We had to retreat after having fought only a fraction of the troops present. Even with Lorelei and Twilight fighting the troops left and right to keep them at bay.  However, we did not leave empty handed.  The Inferi were commanded by what we assumed to be their Captain. We took his life and his head before the Earth Elemental gave in and exploded, clearing a way for us to depart quickly.

Now, this is what this report will conclude to.

The Inferi are aware of the bridge connecting us with them and have blocked it off accordingly. This is a dire problem and most will not see why. The option of taking a ship to cross the waters is risk on itself due to these Winged Inferi and the rumors of the Naval Inferi.  The Winged Inferi on their own could  make a ship sink if they do enough damage. The rumors of Naval Inferi have yet to be confirmed by this one, though it would not be a surprise if it turns out true. Our only somewhat safe passage to Korvassa has been blocked off by  the heavily guarded Scorned Blockade.

There is no  secure direct line of connection to Korvassa as of now.

Alexander Joseph d’Arkent would hear the news of  his deceased niece. He was still surprised about his sister’s sudden impulse that caused her to basically name all her children Mary  “You know, I should interact more with my Carrington Cousins.. Before it’s too late.” He’d say before walking off through the gardens of Selm to his brewery cellar.

A certain Kharajyr merchant named Rha’kir would hear the news. He’d remember the small shop that sold honey that was run by Mary Lucille at the age of 6. He’d feel a grim feeling that would become worse when he realized he knew her by a different name

For a second, when he was finally on break for a while, he would search through the new documents regarding the case of one of his kin. He’d shook his head, clearly upset about the missive and recent updates. ”It is sad, even the law allows voices to be silenced, just because of a label. If he was born different, he would have the right to a fair trial. But not everyone gets those advantages, simply because how they are born.” The Kha would continue working because a new customer had arrived, however, with a clearly sad expression on his face
