Yves-Saint Lauren, often called Yves or Lauran in short, was born in 1671. His father was a master mason who had a part in the building of Carolustadt in 1675-1680. Having seen how the big city where he lives
has risen from the ground and seeing his father help his country by building made Yves feel proud of his heritance, an older Batavian bloodline. Yves is homeschooled by a teacher and learned about politics and the history of the Empire while his father taught him to be a mason.After his schooling he started working in his fathers masonry to keep him company since his mother died shortly after Yves finished his school. Yves learned the trait of masonry which made him quite strong since it was hard work. A few years later his father died as well, (his parents were quite old when they got him as a baby). Yves´ parents had a good life and Yves has had a happy youth. But he decided that he wanted to be more than a mason in the empire. He wants power and pride, he wants to be known in the Empire. Being an only child he decided to sell the masonry and is now lookibg for a diffrent career maybe in the politics or in the military
