CASE STUDY: A new approach to Pregnancy and Childbirth In course of recent events within the Dual Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, the partnership of Court Alchemist Osric Tsecsar and Hospital Physician Lady Adrianna Darkwood have taken it upon themselves to research and produce an alchemical and botanical solution to assist in providing relief for pregnant women through each trimester and to aid medicinally in saving the lives of women experiencing complications in labour and their unborn children. For hundreds of years on various continents, women have been with child and while various physicians have made efforts to reduce the discomforts of pregnancy and labour pains; including bleeding pregnant and labouring women, putting them to sleep and having them swallow blissfoil (an extreme numbing herb) until they could not feel their throats or their extremities. It may be difficult to understand the extreme pains of long labour, to those who have not experienced it and those who cannot. But many women will describe labour pains as if you were hit by lightning in the crotch … In waves over and over again for up to 40 hours. However, recently many physicians within Karosgrad have taken to researching pregnancy and attempting to find ways to provide relief. The goal of the project is to provide these new medicines free of charge to the women that need them and to advise them on the healthiest lifestyles they may lead to improve their and their children’s health. Through the use of Hemo Flow potions which quicken the body's blood flow, the Pain Reducers which can help reduce all pain from mild to serious, are able to act twice as fast, we have also found ourselves able to keep the same standard of pain reduction as well as shortening the time of the effects. This means that we can control the pain of those during their pregnancy up until the point of delivering their child. Before readministering the solution afterwards, however, Hemo Flow causes bleeding to be much worse due to the increased blood flow, hence Coagulator powder will be provided, to suck up blood and cauterise any wounds during emergency procedures and complications. Portion of Brown Rice and Barley Dried Fruit, Avocados and portion of mixed Berries Sample breakfast meals include: A platter of exotic fresh fruits A cheese and ham omelet Porridge These solutions and strategies are being tested on the second yet-unborn child of Lady Adrianna Barclay (co-creator of this project) with positive results for both her child and her general health. Various others have had the techniques tried on them, proving the theory. Thanks to the generosity of Sir Osric Tsecsar these remedies are being given out free of charge to pregnant women from the Hospital of Saint Amayas in the capital city of Karosgrad in Haense to anyone who needs them.
