Grew up from a long line of knights and soldiers, he didn't have time to really think about anything else besides following his family heritage. He joined the knights of Výranni when he was young and found Amelia when he was twenty. He initially did try to give her to the orphanage, then the nuns but when nobody would take her he vowed to raise her himself. He didn't get any support from his parents when raising her so he mainly raised her in the barracks with the other soldiers. He wasn't very high up the ranking yet when he first found her but because of his family lineage, he'd known most of the senior knights since he was a boy and they offered to watch Amelia when he couldn't. He's never really been in a relationship before either with being so focused on raising Amelia and being a knight at the same time, there wasn't really much else for him to focus on. Although he did try his best even when things got difficult. He taught her how to fish, how to read and of course how to fight. He also has one blind eye, and a slight limp from the battles he's fought in. After she had gotten older, they had relocated to the Kingdom of Norland; Settling in the capital of Alisgrad. As time when on, Amelia grew and moved out on her own.
**Edit: Amelia is a person already in the Server, proof of Permission sent Via Discord**
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
Looks around again, slightly suspicious of the scenario but chooses to sit anyways. He sits in the chair with the sound of settling armor and a groan, putting his hands on the table.
"Expecting me? That would be a first, stranger. I come from the Kingdom of Norland, Alisgrad to be exact. I'm sure you've heard of it."
He leans back in the chair, crossing one leg over the other, footsore from the journey. After all, he isn't getting any younger.
"As for my reasoning, I come to see my Daughter. It has been long since I have heard of her, so I have decided to take leave from my duties to visit. And the hope of making something of myself is that of my youth, I am content with my duties and oaths."
The hag smiles, getting comfortable in her own chair as she listens to the visitor, then saying:
"And your daughter? What is she like?"
The Knights eyes meet the Hag's before continuing
"She is crude, loud, disobedient, and borderline rebellious."
Then.. his eyes soften, looking more endearing now. Like a fathers should.
"But she is also Kind, Caring, and Tender-Hearted. She is my only daughter, whom I love deeply, and I wouldn't trade her for all the lands gold."
He sits for a moment longer, before his expression returns to its normal and neutral look. Standing from the table now, he says:
"While I appreciate the conversation, Stranger, I must depart. My Daughter awaits me somewhere in this town, and I do not like to be late."
With the clanking sound of armor and a slight limp, he exits the room.
