His father died by the hands of the nobles for not being able to pay his taxes. After his death the mother fell into despair and had no reason to live anymore. But one day a Highlander came and fell in love with my mother. They had a successful marriage in his (the characters) hometown Halsworth. But sadly they got murdered by a group of bandits. Afterwards he got adopted by wealthy Heartlanders in Riviä. He had a great childhood and made lots of friends but sadly, everything comes to an end. They lost all their money in gambling. He got sold to a slavemaster, so that his adoptive parents could pay their debt. Lucky for him the Slavemaster got raided on his way to Santegia with his slaves on in the carriage. Cait was the only one who survived, thus, he headed back to Halsworth since it's his home town. On his way he met an old man called Brian. Brian was an old Magician who retired a long time ago. He stayed with Brian until he died.And so the journey of the wandering Cait begins.
