    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: A way of gaining an unfair advantage over somebody else. For example: using out of character information, in character. This will nearly always give you an advantage because you are using information that your character probably doesn't know.

Another example of powergaming: You and another person are in a battle. Lets say I swing my sword at this person and I also state that the person got wounded. This is seen as powe

Quinn Nash was born in Curon. Growing up within the city walls of a living city wasn’t easy. At an early age, he was taught how to wield a sword and how to handle one with care. Not much later his interest in knowledge had grown to a point where he would spend most of his days reading. on his eleventh birthday, he nearly met his maker. During a late night stroll, he was jumped by hooded figures which he managed to fight off because of his training, had it not been for his eagerness to read. He would have never been able to cure the poisonous stab which one of his attackers managed to deal. Up until a year ago, he kept himself busy as a sword for hire. But mostly as a hunter. Not making a lot of profit as he’d sell his game and other findings and spending most of it on alcohol. When he moved to Haense, he tried to pick up a different lifestyle trying to cut back on the alcohol and gaining more profit.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
