Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Thalindra steps forward, her gaze sweeping the lit tent, lingering on the flickering candlelight that casts eerie shadows across the space. She takes a slow breath, smelling the scent of the wood and earth as she lowers herself onto the cushion. Her eyes never leave the old hag’s face as she speaks, her voice soft but firm.
“I’ve come seeking answers, though I’m not sure what I’m looking for yet,” -she begins, her tone laced with an air of mystery- “This town... it calls to me, though I’ve never been here before. And you... you seem to know what that is.” -She leans forward slightly, her fingers tracing the edge of her velvet cloak.- "Though what i can say is im definitely here for an adventure... to find myself, or to see what other individuals lie around"
