    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When you take something you learned outside of a roleplay use that knowledge to choose how your character would react.

Like many Heartlander’s Elisha is a very hardworking man. He always dives deep into his work, but can easily become distracted by things such as books and technology. Elisha is a very clever young adult and has been since he was young, learning many things from his father. His parents lived in the village of Leuven and were slaughtered during one of the encounters between the Renations and Haenseti forces. After losing his home and being orphaned Elisha found himself struggling to find work and food. He resorted to pickpocketing in order to earn money and keep himself alive, using his agile build to slip through crowds and get away with petty thievery. To this day Elisha has been living on the streets spending most of his time in the city of Avalain, within the nation of Curon in search of a safe place to stay. He uses what little money he can scrounge up to buy himself food and pay for necessities.

Physical Description: 5'4. Black hair. Green eyes. Bony features. Lacks muscle. Numerous scars on hands. Beauty mark above the left side of the lip.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
