Elyssia was born from a high elf woman from Haelun’or who had a forbidden love with a highlander human farmer from Kaedrin. her birth though out of love was purely accidental and unknowingly would be her mothers cause of death. Elyssia was fair like her mother with her light blue eyes. her hair was same color as her fathers a golden red like the sun fury. luckily she appeared human to most except her ears that which her hair covered. though many knew her secret and the human kids bullied her she had a otherwise normal childhood she was raised on her fathers farm, put to work doing chores like any child would, tending livestock, sowing the fields helping with harvest and last but not least learning to keep house in order to one day maybe find herself a husband and keep him happy. Elyssia’s father made sure to try and shield her from the angry words of the townfolk and even family he raised her with so much love and support her entire life until the day he died of a fever. she was 22 yrs old the last day she saw home. as soon as her father drew his last breath her grandparents had not a kind word for her and ushered her out like a unwanted stray. she gathered only a handful of items and left off into the open world to discover what beauty and cruelty await her, with not a soul to call a friend and no memories to call home. As she stepped out onto the street a flyer hit her feet. “korvassa’s festival...ah ken we have uh place ta go after all” *she grinned* never being allowed to attend the festivals as a kid she knew exactly where she was going.
