He had a brother which got left in the desert after not being able to win a fight against a dwarf. his father was a strict man which led to his mother leaving them at a young age leaving him alone with his father, not long after his uncle came living with them after his wife also left him. their household was nothing out of the ordinary except his father sometimes took him to a battle arena located in caurost where he also lived at the time.
He always had alot of friends being a social person. He wants leave and find out more things about the world. Now he wonders if the world has more in store for him.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Grum ducks a little as he walks into the shack, looking around at the floating candles with a confused look. He slowly sits down in the chair, which creaks under his weight, and rubs the back of his neck.
“I’m from the south of Caurost,” he says, his voice a bit rough. He glances at the old woman, unsure at first, then shrugs slightly. “Grew up with my dad and uncle… they only really cared about strength.”
He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees, thinking for a moment. “I didn’t really fit in there,” he admits, looking down before meeting her eyes again. “I just wanna see more of the world… maybe find something better for myself than what I had.”
