    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is basically when someone uses an action and makes it so the person he/she is trying to act on with immediate and unprotectable attack. It basically makes the one that is being acted upon unable to respond whatsoever. Example: Gaurd witnesses

Born into the lower life of some dark elfs in the city of malinor, Santiago was born into the family of Malvae. His father was a military man as he served malinor for a majority of his life as he retired somewhat after Santiago was born to pass on the family name. As the family of Malvae was primarily both farmers and battle-hardened folk, but when inside of the house there was a multitude of influences in being neat freaks, rules and regulations and abusive parents. Santiago was immediately thrown into this influence around his 6th year of life and was deep into rules on farming and being trained to eventually become a warrior that would someday make the Malvae name famous or so they thought. After a long days work about when Santiago reached his teenage years he would start staying up late at night and teaching himself how to read as he kept doing this over and over for a  period of 5-6 years. One night, the father of Santiago came in and saw his son reading a book in disgust, instead of yelling about it, his father took action and unsheathed a cow whip of some sort as Santiago’s face was soon hit across the face with it and forced to bed without anything to help the blood coming off of his son’s face. Soon later that morning, he was old enough to leave his house as he was banished from his home to wander out at the age of 19 as his adventure starts now...

Physical Description: Long dark black hair would drape behind a warm, welcoming but somewhat eerie face as if he was always scheming about something.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
