    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is where you use "out-of-character" knowledge, for example; learning something from skype, discord, or something else that you previously had no prior knowledge to.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is basically a sort of roleplay that allows your character to do things in words that don't actually happen. For exmaple: "Blooby cuts off Rajivari's toes so he cannot move anymore!"

Kevin Forbes came from a far, far place. He himself can't explain to others about where he had come from. Kevin was found washed up on a beach and was raised by two pirates. He doesn't have much as many despised him for who his parents were and their act in piracy. Kevin tends to wear the same clothes every day, the same ole raggedy mess. He has been pushing to his success in his own ran piracy that he hopes to one day meet the riches. He aspires to bring together his own crew, have a family, and drink a lot of booze. He would love to be surrounded by people he can trust, in a home he loves, and with the drink of his choice. It doesn't take much to make Kevin happy, but it also doesn't take much to make him angry. Kevin has a temper, a really short-fused temper. He may be skinny, but he is an amazing fighter; as well as an escape artist. Kevin is also terrified of dying, as well as scared of being the shortest living race in all of the world. Kevin runs with the Heartlanders, as he loves to be in big packs of people; as when he is alone he begins to feel anxiety. Kevin follows a religion known as "The Red Faith" where he believes in one singular god. Kevin often takes place in many bootleg parties that all of his friends put together that includes a lot of alcohol. He also likes to take place in big group gatherings that protest. He enjoys watching hangings as well; he is often very sick minded with a dark humor. Kevin would love to live on a beach somewhere with his ship nearby, he is not very happy with where he lives now. He currently resides in the streets of Ruriksgrad, or near the outskirts; this is in the Kingdom of Nordan.

Physical Description: Kevin is skinny but is rather strong. He has brown hair, a dirty body, and some torn up clothes. He doesn't have much.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Unfortunately Heartlanders are not a counting lore reference, you need a proper noun of sorts. Think Locations, Religions, Events, stuff like that
