Feanis was raised in the Princedom of Cauróst by his parents, Ehierame and Fenn'iyath (NPC). His family was wealthy because Fenn'iyath worked as a servant. Feanis learnt swordsmanship from his father when he was very young. His father was a soldier before. He believed that being disciplined was the key to staying alive.
Wealthy people like Feanis family were not liked by everyone. Some people were jealous of them. This jealousy turned into hatred over time. Feanis family was hated by people in their community.
One night this hatred went far. Ehierame was killed by an Assassin. This broke Fenn'iyath. He could not handle the pain anymore. He decided to end his life. Feanis saw his father die. This image stayed with him for a long time.
Feanis was all alone now. The only person he had was his friend Kae'Marn (NPC) who was a wood elf. They spent seven years together. They helped each other through tough times.
Then Kae'Marn got very sick. Feanis wanted to help him so he went on a journey to find a cure. Sadly when Feanis came back Kae'Marn was already dead.
Feanis did not have anything or anyone in the Princedom of Cauróst anymore. The people there hated him so he decided to leave. He started traveling from place to place stealing from people to survive. He would attack groups of travelers and convoys. Take their things.
Everything changed for Feanis when he arrived in the Kingdom of Norland.
There he met the people who believed in the Red Faith. Before Feanis did not believe in anything. The Red Faith started to make sense to him. He was hurt by the things that happened to him and the Red Faith seemed to understand him.
Feanis stopped being a thief. Started looking for something more meaningful in his life. After some time in the Kingdom of Norland Feanis decided to travel. This time he was not running away from anything. He was looking for the truth.
Feanis is traveling now because he wants to know if the Red Faith is the path, for him. He wants to know if the Red Faith is what he is supposed to believe in.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
"I came from far away. I've been to Caurost, I've been to Norland. But I have got no place in this world." he says as he looks up at her, standing in the doorway.
''I've passed a farmer on my way and during our talk he told me that it felt weird for him when I approached his hut. Just like some other people who crossed this path." he said placing his old sword against the wall and sitting on the chair.
"Why do you seek for them, young Elf?" Old hag asked, pouring a hot tea into a cup.
" I seek for no one but myself, Ma'am" he replies, petting residing cat and looking at her with his hollow stare.
"Younglings like you should wait until maturity and prepare to take pleasure from fame and glory earned at battlefields. Not trying to find their real selves" says the old woman, laughing and pointing at him.
"How can a child of a soldier that experienced hatred believe in such a thing as credit gained through battles. As long as there are victors, the deafeted ones will also exist." he says crossing hands and looking at the ceiling.
"I wondered if honor meant something in this World if people like me existed and killed people like my mother. Then i suddenly realised that people of honor are slaves to it. They were creating people like me this whole time. They were corrupted. And the worst part was realising that people like me created kids that dreamt of being heroes that guard honor with their lives. We create people of honor." he admitted while his expression softening, as if begging for forgiveness
"I am sure that you'll find a place you belong to young Elf. The ones that you're seraching for went in the direction that you came from" Old woman responded to him turning to pick up the cat.
"I don't search for a place, I do search for a path I could finally stick to." he said walking out of the shack leaving his sword behind and his drink untouched.
