Bjorn was born to a blacksmith whose ancestors had taken refuge within the Grand Kingdom of Urguan after the Great War. Raised and educated in the ways of commerce, Bjorn always dreamed of owning his own tavern or shop. His father had always pushed him to think for himself and to serve himself and others as best he can. In the year 1704, Bjorn left his fathers shop and set out to explore the world. His aim was to start a business of his own and help those that needed him most.
