Though no one ever told him, Morden had rationalized at a young age that he was an Andunian, likely from both parents. A man of strong intellect and a keen eye for detail, he easily discerned the racial origin of his more striking features. These same features that alienated him from his peers in his youth, stand as a testament to the true nature of mankind in his eyes, and in fact all races that crawl through the fetid corpse of this world. He was raised as an orphan behind the tall walls of Curon, and for many years was beaten and abused by both his caretakers and fellow orphaned children. During those days, he learned to steal and trap small game for food. He often spent his time outside the city walls during the daylight hours, wondering if he could survive on his own beyond the safety of Curon’s borders.

It wasn’t until he was 16 however, that he finally grew tired of the constant ridicule and disdain of the other children, when he lashed out at one of his bullies, fatally wounding the teen in the head with a rock. Standing above the dead teen, a feeling crept into his heart as the first of the other children began to run for help. A feeling of finality, and closure. A feeling of redemption of justice. Yes… he would need to hold that feeling again, he thought, as he fled through the city into the wilderness beyond. 

He wandered the land alone much of the time, constantly on the lookout for bandits or wild animals. When the War of the Two Emperor’s swept across the land, Morden went out of his way to find every battlefield, clinging to the edges of the death and despair like a dog waiting for scaps, and when his time came he would wander the fields, killing as many wounded as he could just for a taste of his sweet beloved death. During these times he scavenged what supplies he could of course to sustain himself, and idly trained himself in the fastest and most efficient ways to finish off a mortal soul.

After 12 years of hiding, stealing, killing, and fleeing from the bounty hunters of King Pierce, Morden returned to finish the righteous mission he’d started all those years ago. He would kill all those who tormented the weak and powerless with their fists and neglect. He would wreak vengeance on the corrupt and vile mortals of these kingdoms. He would right the wrongs of this world with his own two hands, and he would enjoy every moment of it..now was the time of blood..now was the time of death.
