The grandson of a well respected wizard who went missing some time ago when researching lost ruins. Word spread though the community that the old man had fallen to the taint of Iblees, although after years with no more news on his whereabouts, he slowly passed from public memory. In modern day Ran works as a clerk at a potion shoppe in the port city of Sutica, having no real experience with potion crafting himself and no currently willing to teach him, he turned to adventuring on the side to earn some coin and hopefully learn how to be a powerful mage like his grandfather.
