Born near the large territory of the Holy Oreninan Empire, Silas quickly grew to adore the noise and hustle of city life. Music, in particular, would make his heart swell every-time his ears were blessed enough to hear it. It didn’t take too long for Silas to pick up his first instrument, a simple lute which would guide him through his childhood years until he could afford his own. At the heart of Silas, is a love for music and the storytelling opportunities it grants him.
His parents both played significant roles in who he would grow up to be; his father, intelligent and devout to the Church of the Canon, and his mother, a well-read, quick-tempered housewife. Though she was confined to her domestic duties under societal normalities, she remained headstrong in her will to educate Silas on everything she could. This exposure to differing points of view widened his mind extensively, and Silas found his own curiosity to learn the opinions and cultural norms of others across the land. Now, he wishes for the ability to travel and hear the stories others have to tell him, turning to ink and paper to document and compose them into songs. However, Silas’ headstrong nature and instinct to challenge societal norms may find him in strife if not kept private.
Silas spares a moment to run his eyes over the immaculately dressed gentleman, silently appreciating the luxuriousness of his clothing. He smiles.
“I haven’t quite decided, yet. Though the city looks beautiful, so far,” he states, eyes crinkling slightly with a grin, “What would you recommend?”
