Percival was the firstborn to poor parents on the outskirts of Kaedrin. The Allizogs had two other children, Alice and Thomas. Percival was a quiet boy, eager to please but soft-spoken. Clever and a fan of tinkering, he quickly grew into a large young man and found his place in the Orenian military. Slowly making his way up the ranks, Percival found himself training new recruits and teaching them to fight and clean their weapons, just as his superiors had done for him. As he took his men to battle time and time again, Percival grew tired of watching the young men he'd taught die. He despised the loss of life and potential. At the ripe age of 50, Percival retired from the military he'd spent so much of his life serving. He felt it was time to create a home for himself and perhaps learn more about engineering that he found so interesting.
Percival turns to face the man as he approaches. Nodding his head in greeting, he sighs softly. "A home, sir. This old military man has seen enough of battle and death. I'm ready for some roots." With that, Percival headed off in search of a roof and some grass he could call his own.
