Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Elandor takes a closer look around and makes sure there are no unpleasant surprises waiting for him. “What brings me here old lady? I've heard there's a special ingredient here that gives wines that mature in barrels a special taste that makes them almost irresistible,” says Elandor as he approaches carefully and takes a seat on the cushion on offer. “Can you help me with my search? I can offer you a lot in return, services, money, goods, tell me, are the rumors true? And if so, what do you want for it?” I watch the old woman with shining eyes and wait spellbound for an answer.
Elandor is a simple Wood Elf who grew up in one of the many forests. In his childhood he gained basic knowledge in herbalism and bow making and showed an early interest in fruit processing. In search of adventure, he set off into the wide world with his homemade bow. During one of his first battles against monsters, his bow broke and he barely managed to escape. Now he has decided to only go on adventures when necessary. His dream now is to own his own tavern or even a winery.
