Gluum is the oldest of three brothers (Zokhami and Hammerlock) and was born in 1502, in the kingdom of Kaz’Akash. Him and his brothers relocated to the Kal’Ordholm some time later. Glumm swore to protect his fellow brothers but this was not to last. During a great war, Gluum was separated from Zokhami, but was still fighting alongside Hammerlock. After many long hours of battle Hammerlock was beheaded in front of Gluum. Traumatized, Gluum was unable to move and was struck on the side of the head, knocking him unconscious. Upon waking in a sea of dead bodies, Gluum mourned his lost brother and set sail in search for his other brother.
After decades and decades of silence, not hearing word from his lost brother, Gluum’s depression was catching up on him. He thought about his brothers and maybe seeing them again, even if it's in the after life…. But there was still a trace of hope left in his heart. Gluum heard from an elder Dwarf miner that a Dwarf with a name like Zokhami was living in Kaz’ulrah.
That was good enough for Gluum.
