Elwin Venberos was born in 1585 around the time John III was assassinated during the Year of Four Emperors. His mother and father helped conspire the assassination of John IV. As a result, they were publicly executed by the Holy Orenian Empire at Sun's Smile. After his parents were executed, Elwin became orphaned and was taken care of by his grandmother who lived in Haelun'or away from other snow elves. As he grew up, he learned several hunting techniques and combat styles from his mentors and friends which developed his habit to hunt and kill animals for money. Elwin always hated living among his other elves and was always interested in other races and their cultures. He read many books on the human races, and he learned much about their culture and language. When Elwin turned 46, he decided he wanted to live among other races and learn more about their cultures. As a result, he ran from 'home' to explore Axios and lived as a mercenary and monster-hunter. When he was 64, he took a contract to kill a powerful and insane olog on the outskirts of the human settlement 'Adelburg'. During the fight, the olog picked Elwin up by his head and ripped his lower jaw off. Elwin escaped the olog's grasp by cutting both his eyes. Elwin wrapped his face in ripped cloth from his clothes. He successfully killed the olog, and he returned to get compensation for his contract. He spent the remaining of his money to commission an iron jaw, and had a witch-doctor apply the iron jaw to his face. Fortunately, Elwin's tongue was intact, so he is able to speak normally despite the subtle lisp he has. Also when he made the deal with the witch-doctor, the witch-doctor gave him a curse in return for the surgery procedure. The curse is where he becomes infertile after 250 years and the rest of his bloodline have a normal human lifespan. The curse also makes him unable to use any magic for the rest of his life. The curse has been named "The Elwin's Curse". In 1643, Elwin took the third human pilgrimage to Atlas to look for a new life. He's hoping to find a group of friends, and look for a love interest.
