Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, ye want ter hear my story, do ya?" Trumm guffaws and narrows his eyes at the hag. "I'll pu' aside the fact tha' ye know my name already."
Trumm sits down on the cushion and throws his axe down next to him. "Ye see, when I was a li'le boy, me dad took me on a trip with 'im. It was probably the worst thing 'e did, and 'e did some pre'y bad things. And, well..." He absentmindedly raises a hand and runs his finger across a scar on his left cheek.
"I go' hurt. 'E did too. Some..." he pauses. "Something go' to 'im. Even though I mostly 'ated 'im, I still-" Suddenly he stops.
"Wo' kind of spell did ya pu' on me? 'Ow'd you get me ter say all o' tha' nonsense?" He shakes his head and groans.
"Tha' nonsense I'm tryin' to forge'..."
