Backstory 1 (Childhood):
Jakob grew up in the countryside where he was taught how to chop down trees, farm and cook. He had a poor and lonely upbringing which has led to him having lots of trust issues as he never really had anyone other than family. His Father died when he was twenty years old and left him in full time care for his mother who was paralysed from the waist down. He decided to sell the land and move to the Northern city of, “Reza”. In this new start he is looking to improve himself and learn new skills. In his past, he was very interested in weapons. His Father would use his bow to kill deer, rabbits and anything else that he could find and it fascinated young Jakob how the bow was so powerful. He then moved on to swords, where his Father would practice sword fighting with him for protection purposes. This led to him learning to be a blacksmith, which is another skill set that he will look to pursue in the new city he has moved to.
Backstory 2 (Teenage years):
In his teenage years, he was a bit of a mischief. He would go into his Father’s bakery and steal all the bread and share it between him and his pet wolf, “Kasparov”. The two of them got into all sorts of trouble with the locals. This quickly matured Jakob as he learnt his actions have consequences when his dog was shot with an arrow for stealing valuable goods. This was horrible for Jakob but it has helped shaped him into an adult. Pursuing his passion for weaponry, Jakob opened his own blacksmith in the country. He would make small daggers, arrow heads and other basic goods to sell to the locals. He would give them discounts because of how much of a pain he was in his earlier teenage years which gave him a good reputation again. This showed that Jakob had the ability to bounce back from bad situations and improve himself.
Backstory 3 (Adulthood – Present):
Living in the city, Jakob has excelled. He is adventuring all over the place, finding chests, completing quests and mingling with other people in the city. His blacksmiths was sold when he moved to the city, however the skills he earned while running it has proved to be valuable as he is able to craft his own weaponry to help him go and hunt in the country outside of the city. This helps him connect back to his childhood and keep his Father’s memory alive.
Jakob looks up and smiles at the gentleman, seeing he is a well-dressed individual he decides to respond, “Hello! I’m Jakob,” with a smile, “I'm here to try and improve myself, a new, fresh, start ya’know?”
The man replies, “Aha! Well young Jakob, it is nice to meet you feel free to ‘venture around this city and make a name for yourself!”
Jakob looks at the man and bows, “Thank you for the warm welcome kind Sir. May I ask, what is your name?”
The well-dressed man replies, “It is Viktor!” he holds out his hand to Jakob.
Jakob shakes it promptly, “Nice to meet you Viktor but I must be going I have a lot to do.” He nods and walks off.
Viktor nods back and goes his separate way.
