How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when your character knows certain information without it making sense. For example: Your character is in a roleplay combat with another character and your character takes advantage of a specific weakness the other character has, but you found out about this weakness through a discord message.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is doing anything that your character wouldn't be able to do realistically. It is also when you force an action on another character that is not yours without giving any opportunity to react. For example: Severing another character's limb without leaving an opportunity to dodge. Or: A character with a severely wounded leg outrunning their pursuers.
