    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when information you learn/know out of character, is used in character.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When an action is forced upon another person/player. In other words not giving another player a chance to respond themselves with an action.(EX: *Samantha threw the bottle of glass at Jonathan as it shattered and rendered him unconscious.*)

Adelaide was born in the simple halfling village of Mellsbury. She is child to Madoc and Delaney Hornwood. Her father Madoc comes from a lengthy line of simple and friendly halflings who weren’t really known for anything in particular. Where as her mother Delaney is from a family of bakers! Her mother’s family was very private about their recipes though. They didn’t trade any secrets among folk who weren’t blood related. Adelaide grew up in the nice village among family and friends. Adelaide is a very friendly and outgoing halfling. She isn’t shy to speak her mind and is very lively to say the least. She is a quick thinker and was taught to bake at an early age and has practiced the skill throughout her lifetime. She was a strange child who enjoyed to clean when she wasn’t playing with friends or baking. One thing she didn’t have time for though was fishing. Her father had offered to teach her but she never had an interest in it so she still does not know how to fish to this day. One day she really hopes to run her own bakery and share the delicious tastes of her family's recipes. Just like any other halfling she enjoys festivities and a good drink or two (especially shogging and ale!). Her current residency is in Dunshire and she loves it there. If you end up making her acquaintance you won’t be disappointed.

Physical Description: 2'8 in height, long dark brown wavy hair, one royal blue and one emerald green eye, her complexion is a creamy colour.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
