Adelaide was born in the simple halfling village of Mellsbury. She is child to Madoc and Delaney Hornwood. Her father Madoc comes from a lengthy line of simple and friendly halflings who weren’t really known for anything in particular. Where as her mother Delaney is from a family of bakers! Her mother’s family was very private about their recipes though. They didn’t trade any secrets among folk who weren’t blood related. Adelaide grew up in the nice village among family and friends. Adelaide is a very friendly and outgoing halfling. She isn’t shy to speak her mind and is very lively to say the least. She is a quick thinker and was taught to bake at an early age and has practiced the skill throughout her lifetime. She was a strange child who enjoyed to clean when she wasn’t playing with friends or baking. One thing she didn’t have time for though was fishing. Her father had offered to teach her but she never had an interest in it so she still does not know how to fish to this day. One day she really hopes to run her own bakery and share the delicious tastes of her family's recipes. Just like any other halfling she enjoys festivities and a good drink or two (especially shogging and ale!). Her current residency is in Dunshire and she loves it there.
