Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
She looks at her confused, but attempts to remain dignified. "I know you? From where?" Somewhere between her attempt to maintain composure and trying to remember who this old hag was, her concentration on remaining dignified slipped and she started to scrunch up her face. Eventually after a couple minutes of thinking, she goes with the tried and true method. "Yeah... YEAH! I know you, you're that lady from that one place! You said you were from that one town.. the one from," she pauses before quickly looking at the town's sign, "(SWAMPY, DIM TOWN NAME!)...yeah!...(Swampy, dim town name).
