Chiara was born to their parents, two travelers. growing up they never were in one place for long, always on the road.. however one time whilst staying in a quaint village town, they met the leader's son. Chiara and the boy got along well and eventually became friends. the young children were always getting in trouble, mostly due to the actions of the mayor's son. however one night when the children snuck out as usual. they were attacked by wolves,, the boy shoved Chiara at the wolves and they got clawed across the chest. they had to run through the forest blindly to get back to town, however once back.. the leader of the town exiled Chiara and their parents due to Chiara supposedly having been the one to decide to sneak out with the leader's son.
as they grew older they lost interest in making friends, they felt it was better if they didn't trust others in fear of being hurt again. but besides the childhood injury they grew up having a decent life. traveling and trading alongside their parents. but one day they decided to start out on their own, in search of a place to remain permanently. now at the age of 26 they've been exploring for a while and still in search of that forever home.
Chiara walked, trying to keep her head down. upon being approached by the well-dressed lad they'd look up, tilting their head. as the man began to speak, welcoming Chiara to this grand city. they were glancing around at the area as the man spoke, finally refocusing on the gentleman one the question about what brought them there was asked. "I suppose I'm here merely to find to a place to live out my life.. maybe also start up a shop." they replied. their voice was somewhat monotone, lacking any excitement in how they sounded.
