    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information you already know in a roleplay situation. Example: Johnny and Thanos saw on the discord that Baby Shark the merchant will be traveling from Holm to Drakai, and decide to rob him.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you force actions upon another player. Example: Timmy Shoots a silver tipped arrow into Johnathan's chest.

Ashton was born in a small hovel north of Hanseti-Ruska and lived the first 5 years of his life there. When Ashton was 6, his family moved to a small village west of the Kaedrin capital. According to Ashtons mother in order for them to be a part of Kaedrin society, they had to believe in a religion. By this time Ashtons family has devoted itself to Lucienism. Ashtons father was a drunk and spent most of his time around alcohol.

His mother was kind to Ashton and his siblings and always wished for his father to stop drinking. Ashton has 3 siblings, 2 younger brothers named Derek and Harold, and 1 older sister who was named Maree. When Ashton turned 7, his father died of an unknown illness (Heart Disease) and Ashtons mother ended up taking over as the families leader. When Ashton turned 9, he was sent to be an apprentice for an old Lumber man. Later that year Ashtons arm was injured in a freak accident and had to be sent home. When Ashton arrived, he found his mother lying on the floor crying. Ashton wandered out back and found 2 graves marked “Maree” and “Harold”. Ashton and his younger brother, Derek, had to care for their mother and had to take care of their hovel. The years to come were rough for Ashton and his brother, but they pulled through and survived the harsh winters combined with deadly snowfall and the sweltering summers with occasional storms. When Ashton turned 18 he left home in search of work and pay. He found a job as a courier and he then delivered messages and mail to other citizens and nobles. One day a noble with a band of mercenaries asked Ashton to deliver an important package to another noble. Ashton agreed as it was good pay. The trip was tough but he eventually made it to the city. Ashton couldn't help himself so he opened the package and found bags upon bags of coin. Ashton took the coin for himself and was making his way to his mother's hovel when he was arrested and jailed for thievery. 5 years later Ashton is know 23 and is let out of jail for good behavior. Ashton now travels Atlas in search of adventure and trial. Who knows? Maybe someday you will encounter Ashton on your travels...  ?

Physical Description: Ashton is a tall strong built man with grey eyes with red hair and a beard. Ashton wears a green hooded cloak over regular commoner clothing.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
