Grunk was an average person. He lived with his two loving parents that were actively working and usually away from the house on work trips. He lived a very normal life for a while until his dad figured out about his mom cheating on him with another and was angered. They ended up settling peacefully in court for a divorce with the kid ending up with the mother. The mother now had to work extra hard to keep them afloat now that the father was gone so most days the child was left alone at home. He learned more about the land he lived in (The Kingdom of Norland) and got a good lay of the land. He learned how to navigate the forests of the land like the back of his hand. Eventually he had grown up and moved into the city to get a job at the docks for a while. After working for a couple months, he realized his real calling was traveling the world in search of true friends and enough money to settle down and live a peaceful life.
He extends hand for a handshake and with an almost over friendly tone says "Hello! I'm Grunk and I'm seeking honest work for honest coin" The man points over yonder to a board near a well-kept tavern as he says, "That is where you'll find any work worth perusing in this city, I shall guide you there" The two men set off towards the tavern and as they are walking Grunk looks around the prospering city and apricates its beauty. They arrive at the tavern the well-dressed man says "This is the bounty board I was referring to earlier. You can find all sorts of jobs here for any man." Grunk studies the board looking for an interesting job but doesn't find anything that strikes his fancy. Grunk says, "Nothing here fits my skill set but I shall stick around for a while longer, tis a beautiful city" The man says, "That's a shame but there's always work to be done so I hope to see you around Grunk it was a pleasure meeting you." The two men shake hands in solidarity one more time and then part ways.
