Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"As-salamu alaykum ..." Rohat says as he holds his hand over his heart as he answers the woman's greeting. Rohat sits down on the cushion, but he keeps his distance from the old hag. He has a weary look about him as he meets the hag’s gaze. "“I am Rohat of the Qalasheen", Rohat pauses for a minute to gauge the hag's reaction. "I came... I came from the far deserts. I came here looking for peace ... for safety." Rohat looks down at the floor, reminiscing about what he has experienced growing up. "The endless desert disputes have never allowed me such a luxury. We have been killing each other for so long, we don't even remember why". "I heard my uncle once say that we are fighting because a tribe refused to pay blood money after killing an ancestor of mine", Rohat shaking his head before looking up at the old hag. With tears in his eyes, Rohat said," This tribal warfare also claimed his life too. I might not remember the reason for why we are fighting but I remember everyone we have lost. May allah give them mercy and guide us all"
