Flora was named after what her mother loved most. She lived with her mother and father in the bustling port town of Sutica. When she was a young girl, she liked watching the ships come in from the harbor. Her dad was a sailor who travelled across the coast, visiting places like Aegrothond. Every day she would wait eagerly by the docks in the Iris Wharf waiting for his ship’s arrival. She would watch the Kharijyrs go about their day as she waited. Sadly one day, her father’s ship never returned. So she stayed waiting there, every spare hour of the day. Her once prosperous family began to run out of money but she had to stay there, she refused to believe he was dead. Her mother was forced to do menial tasks to make a living. Flora sold all of her nice possessions, and the feeling of emptiness in her stomach wasn’t uncommon. Now, a hollow remnant of her once happy self, she still sits by the Sutica docks, waiting.
