    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming in my words would have to be knowing knowledge that your character shouldn’t. for example if you are basing your roleplay in the 1920’s and mention cell phones or anything from the modern day in your roleplay, it wouldn’t make any sense and you’d be ruining the roleplay as a whole. this could even include knowing something that a player is going to be doing in real life but your character doesn’t, but you decide to type out and out them to everyone else. this would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the use of unrealistic roleplay strategies. for example one might say “i dodged the attack and killed him” that would be not only unfair but unrealistic. this gives the person or people you are roleplaying with no chance to respond back and they will and have the right to get very upset with you.

Odessas eyes grew wide, the city amazed her, the amount of things to do along the path was insane, her mind couldn’t even begin to comprehend. Hearing the voice next to her shook her, she turned to see the gentlemen next to her. She smiled, he seemed friendly enough maybe he was actually curios and didn’t have bad intentions. “Actually.. i’m not so sure. you could say it’s an adventure because it sure feels like one to me, but i think the reason i’m really here is to finally start my life. I want to dive into my mind, push myself, create happiness around me.” she paused for a moment.  “Haha, you may think i’m insane, sure, but in reality i’m just a small girl with dreams never ending.” she signed and looked down at her feet, the worn out shoes she wore day by day. she wasn’t sure why this man decided to approach her instead of anyone else, it surprised her, but she loved the company and he was providing that. “I want to make an education, i want to become strong. strong enough to stand up to my demons and strong enough to find my mother, she’s out there somewhere and i will never give up.” she smiled wide and gripped her fist tight and flung it in the air “Here’s to a new life!”
