    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: By altering your phrasing to say you are attempting to do something using "attempt in a scenario
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It undermines the integrity of the role play. I stand by the -1 rp.

Character Name: Jack Dilun
Character Race: Human
Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: 6'2" with one black and one grey eye. Brown Hair. Leather gloves and pads with a green cloak around the neck.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Jack would take his bow and quill off of his back and set them on the ground next to the seat offered by the old hag. Jack would proceed to sit down as he replies, "I am searching for someone. A long lost "friend" if you will." Jack would pause before whispering to the old hag, "Have any Rangers passed through here recently?"

  • Please make sure to use actions in your backstory/roleplay scenario. This is just to ensure we know what you are doing!  When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person! Example: Judy stomps her foot on the ground. “How dare you!” she screams.

Hiya! Consider yourself accepted onto the server! Well done for completing your application, and one great big welcome to Lord of the Craft! I can see you've worked on what was asked! I would say my one suggestion is to explore and think about all the other things that powergame and metagame may envelop, sure it may undermine roleplay but try to think of how metagame- even accidental metagame may come to pass.

I suggest going to tutorial island or do;  /creq Can someone come assist me?
