    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It is acting as if your character knows something that it should not know (because you in the real world has that information).
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Using emotes that are too powerfull for your character. For example, a peasant farmer is not going to win a duel with a noble prince. I should not act as if my character is optimal for everything.

Sir Rodget was born into a relatively wealthy merchant family. The first recorded ancestors of his family lived in the cloud temple of Dunshire in Atlas. After the migration they continued to live in the cloud temple of Arcas. But his family became more and more greedy and decided that there was more fortune to be earned as merchants in the Federation of Sutica. Sir Rodget himself was born there and is a succesfull merchant in the federation. He lives in a merchant’s house ( not a castle or big villa), is not married or has any childeren. He trades in gold and he will also act in gold. With is plotting and scheming skills and rising wealth he is seeking for more political and perhaps military power in The Federation, by entering the ministry.

 

Until now he has not done anything much, he has been a friendly merchant who always pays his debts. He had a few friends once, but all of them died already of old age (50+) combined with drunkness. He once really fell in love to another rich Sutican girl (Does not like to talk about this) but did not bother to make steps as he tought of her as a distraction from his work, this points out his dedication for gold as his parents taught him. His parents recently died in a sailing accident to explore unused lands in the south of Arcas.

 

 

Ps: I will not start right off plotting and scheming against nobles. I will start with getting gold / goods and just trade as any other merchant. What lays above are just my goals (I will not rush towards them, not fun).

Physical Description: Dark brown hair with gray spots on the left and right. Small beard, Dark robe with golden buttons. (skin almost ready)
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • Your Power-gaming definition is lacking detail. Please try to better convey the correct definition in your own words.
  • Your biography is a bit too short, can you expand this to at least five sentences and add in some more character development/backstory.
  • Within your biography you’re required to at least have two piece of server lore, this meaning – nation names, location names or event names. All of which can be found on the wiki. (You currently have one).
