Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Denni cautiously walks across the room at the beckoning of the hag, and takes the seat offered, keeping an eye for anything abnormal or threatening, and begins to share with the hag. "I've been traveling, looking for space to claim as my own." Denni sits in her own silence for a moment as she passes through her own memories that led to this desire. Her family, from Petra, was forced out, as were many, and have since lived in small villages along the Burgundy countryside ever since. "I've come from a big family, with many brothers and sisters, relegated to tight housing and shared quarters. Space is something I long for. That. . ." she eyes the hag more intently ". . . and privacy."
Denni contemplates sharing more, but after a brief thought, believes she has shared enough for now. "And you hag, what has you expecting me?" Denni straightens her back and ensures her full form and strength is seen, to ensure the hag knows she is dealing with no pushover.
