Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Joshua remained quiet until the nice lady finished speaking, he offered a warming smile to her even though he had no knowledge of who she was. When she mentioned that she was expecting of him, his head would turn a bit out of confusion. He quickly regained his friendly posture and replied. "Well first off I'd like to state, I love the smell of your candles." He'd walk over to sit down next to her on the cushion, no thought of suspicion entered his mind. "My story you ask of? Well, it's not as interesting as others you may hear." He'd lean back, resting while placing his arms down behind his back. "Rather simply, I've lived an easy going life throughout my 18 years. I thought it was time for a change, small or large, the difference means none to me." He turn his head to look her in her eyes. His eyes were calming and gentle, they showed a life of ease. "But, that's enough about me, what about your story? I'm sure you have a few interesting ones, no?"
