        Ena Umejyre was born to Yumanea Umejyre the high elf and Abbott Slater the highlander into a life of mystery, self-reliance, and scandal. Yumanea was exiled from Haelun'or upon her sister's discovery of her union with Abbott and the couple whisked their child, Ena, away to Nevaehlen. When Ena was two years old, she woke one morning to find her parents unresponsive no matter what she tried to get them to wake. From then on, a very kind and very gracious wood elf friend of her father's took on the task of raising her. She learned of the Aspects, and the Seeds, and the Mani. Never for as far back as she can remember has she ever subscribed to a particular religion, even the one the wood elves raised her with, but religion and philosophy always greatly intrigued her. When it came to Nevaehlen's culture, she especially took a liking to the concept of the Mani. Ever since she was a little girl, anything having to do with animals set her soul alight. She learned to read, and write, and sew. Every now and then, she'd ask about her parents or meet a high elf and start to feel unsure of who she really was, but now, at eighteen years old, she's sure of who she is. She's a flame. An adventurer. Clad in her mother's dresses, she has a will to roam, to talk back, and to learn.
