    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: metagaming is like having your character know something that they haven't learned themself, and just knowing something they didn't have access to before because the player wanted them to know it and giving them the information
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: powergaming is when a character does something that is completely unrealistic, like defeating someone much more powerful than them, or doing something far outside their possible skill set.

Riryvra considered just ignoring him and continuing onwards, as it was approaching dusk and they wanted to find a place to stay the night, but it felt rather rude. He also wasn't really sure as to how to respond to his question, as really what brought him to this city was it just being conveniently in the direction they were going. 

"Well, I guess you could say adventure brought me here, though that is a bit too grand a term for it. I've just been exploring the country, going around from place to place, and it seemed rather interesting here." The man nodded thoughtfully, and they once again considered making their way further into the lively bazaar, but the man looked like he could be helpful in navigating the busy city, so he stuck around for the moment.

"Would you happen to know where I could go to make some coin? Odd jobs and the such. And if you could point me in the direction of an inn where I could spend the night?"
