    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: the use of information acquired out-of-character, in-character. Eg. Someone tells you where so and so lives on discord and you get the gang to burn their house down in game and in character
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Performing an action that is outside of lore or otherwise impossible EG. *Your Head rolls to the floor* (I understand)

Hadvar was born in Adria. His father was killed by bandits while travelling as a merchant when he was but an infant. Hadvar was raised by his mother who worked tirelessly to provide for him and his little sister. She worked long hours at a fishmongers in the central market, she was gone for the majority of the day so you could say Hadvar also raised his younger sister Hadvar and his sister got on just fine, but Hadvar often felt that he didnt fit in. All the other kids had friends and Hadvar had his sister. Hadvar had fallen in with a bad crowd and Became a mercenary for anyone who was willing to pay him, always sending the majority of his money to his mother and sister. 

 

At age 24, he became enamoured with a girl he met working at the tavern which he visited often to find jobs for himself. She was beautiful, and every man in the town knew it, they shouted all manner of profanities at her  . But not Hadvar, He longed for more from her. After many attempts at courting her with gifts, the girl agreed to see him, after a few months they were married, Hadvar had left His mercenary work and wanted to start a family, he’d found a humble job as a Lumberjack apprentice in the forest just outside of the city walls . Life was quiet although they lived on a what Hadvar considered a peasants wage, He wanted to be content but couldnt accept this quiet lifestyle. Several months a friend from his mercenary days had spotted him working near the forest entrance and offered Hadvar a job which would set him, his wife and his mother and sister up for life. He accepted the job of course! , little did he know things were about to change forever. He was tasked with killing a noble. As he entered the nobles home he was captured and tortured. His wife, mother and sister. all tortured and killed in front of him. He was left in a cell to rot, Forgotten by all. All but the mercenary who had given Hadvar the Job, he had been overwhelmed with guilt for what had become of his friend. He broke Hadvar from his cell after months of planning. 

 

Hadvar has flee’d his home land and looks to start his life a new and is now in the city of Sutica

Physical Description: Brown Hair, Blue eyes, Fur clothing, Medium Build, Rough facial hair.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø Your powergaming is incorrect and metagaming needs to be said differently, please review to the wiki page found here.

 

Ø Your biography must two references to already established canon LOTC lore, however keep in mind your persona’s age of 26 and the current ingame year of 1722 that they may not be present for some events that are in the following here are some sources and pages you can look at are:

Ø Your interesting fact does not contain a flaw, please change this. They must be composed with atleast 1 flaw, one neutral fact and a good trait.

 

Ø Along with the lore reference, you should keep in mind that your biography takes place in LOTC’s universe which already has many established lore on the world which you can use for it.

Ø Also I recommend editing your application to put you mc username in the “Minecraft Account Name” section, or else you will not be whitelisted automatically if accepted.

Ø Your mother cannot be a servant in Helena as that implies that you be born and raised in Helena in Arcas, which is impossible at this moment due to the in roleplay year of 1722, meaning that you’d have to be born in or around 1695, which is on Atlas. Aswell the Holy Orenian Empire was only reformed extremely recently. Here are some helpful wiki entries that should help.
