    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When out of game information is used in order to gain advantages regarding playthrough. ie. knowing that an ambush is about to happen without even seeing a single foe or track of it.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When someone uses power to affect their gameplay on the server. ie: being backstabbed and saying that you were able to deflect it due to your armor, afterwards beheading your foe without turning around

The young lad of the Blackwood’s, Vaan Blackwood, the late brother to Duncan and Alexander Blackwood grew along his siblings; nothing but a small camp out of Krugmar. Son a drunken figure and a graceful beautiful woman: His father and in the other hand, mother. He learned how to fend for himself at a young age, always watching, before acting, cunning and relentless when needed, yet arrogant and overconfident of his skills, The Red faith was something that always had been taught into him, by either his mother or Duncan. most likely a distant father he had to learn things the hard-way, watching Elliot (one of his father’s best friends) teach Duncan the ways of the sword he quietly improvised his own ways of training, and suddenly stood up to ask for advice to his elder siblings. He quickly began liking the path he was carving, a blade of renown in Krugmar, yet he lacked of many abilities to prove worthy of something. After his brothers left he remained thinking about his future, and set out a couple of hours after Alexander left, only to become the youngest Sellsword in the group. Maybe he will succeed, or maybe he will end up Battered, Bruised and Contused before he knows, but one thing is certain, he’ll put up a fight and follow his siblings all the way...

 

now he travels with the Blackwood Sellswords wherever they go, and wishes to develop his skills in combat along the way.

Physical Description: A dark-brownish average heighted young lad with serious look on his stone-alike eyes wearing darkish garments that favour speed over defence.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  Your powergaming definition does not quite match the server’s definition of powergaming. Please refer to our wiki page on Powergaming for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize).

 

Ø  Your character cannot be a part of an existing family on LotC such as the Blackwoods, unless you have received permission from a player that is part of that family. If you have received permission, please ask the player to contact me either here on the forums or through my discord (Aqua#5363), to confirm this.
