Thasinia has always been proud of her family’s accomplishments. Her family isn’t one of the major families, however they have distinguished themselves with their accomplishments. They were known for their prowess with the bow, performing valiantly in several battles. However, it is sword play that has Thasinia’s heart. In fact she’s been fascinated with everything about sword fighting, and especially creating the artistically beautiful swords. Her family is skeptical, however, the want her accomplishments to add to their family’s grandeur especially since there are so few of them in the Dominion of Malin and she is their only child thus far.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
