Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: In the soft glow of candlelight, he settled onto the worn cushion and adjusted the cherished red scarf—a memento from his late mother that gently veiled his features. He carried an elegant air alongside his aloof sister, he journeyed far in search of a new home—a place where peace and belonging might finally be found. His calm, measured voice spoke, "I'm looking for a place to start new" he conveyed, his eyes reflecting quiet determination. He shifted a little on the cushion, the glow of the candles casting soft shadows on his face, still mostly concealed by the red scarf. His fingers gently traced the fabric for a moment before speaking, his voice steady but carrying a quiet weight. "We came from a town that was… complicated," he began, eyes focused on the dim light as he recounted the past. "My mother was an important figure there. They arranged her marriage—political, you know? It wasn’t because of love. It was about power. But despite all that, she loved someone else. No one knew, of course… or at least that’s what she hoped. But my sister and I… we were her secret. We weren’t meant to be known." He paused, swallowing back a lingering ache, before continuing in a calmer tone. "She had to hide us, keep us tucked away from the world. But when she passed, everything changed. There was no one left who could protect us. The town wasn’t safe anymore, and we couldn’t stay. So, we left...fled, really, and now, well, here we are, searching for somewhere we can finally settle down, somewhere we won’t have to hide anymore." His fingers slipped free of the scarf, briefly revealing an intense look in his eyes. "I still carry her memory with me. This scarf is all I have left of her… aside from the story I hold inside."
