Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Her face scrunched at the unpleasant smell, but she maintained her politeness with a smile. She made heavy eye contact, examining the hag as she sat next to her, her dress enveloping the pillow. Starting to speak, she said, "A pleasure to meet you! I am Clover. I come from a family of merchants; I have a father and younger siblings. You see, I am a high elf who was adopted into the family, and my father refers to me as his ‘treasure.’ I have always wanted something for myself, but everything in life has been given to me on a silver platter. I am grateful to my father, but he is a bit controlling. I am reaching the age where I am no longer a child and need to make decisions for myself and learn new skills. That’s why I decided to run away to become either a farmer or a mage! Now what's your story?" She finished, waiting for the hag to answer in anticipation.
