    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you are in a roleplay situation, and you look through other sources to use in your roleplay character. (looking through the chat to know a certain event, or looking at the nametags of a stranger in the server.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when your actions are used to force someone to dosomething, or doing something that is outside your characters abilities. (eating meat as a vegetarian in game, or spawn killing, or killing withers when your character is 8 years old)

Exlanious is a curious boy. When he was born, he crawled around, looking for new things to discover. during his young years, his parents loved him, and card a lot about him, but eventually everyone will leave. At the age of 12, he parents left him in others care, and left for a journey to an unknown place, but they never came back. Their family was separated, and young Exlanious was abandoned, all by himself. 

 

Later in his life, he came by many friends, and developed a strong and joyful personality. He cheers people up, and helps young and old ones in the village. but also at the same time, he spent his own time doing experiments and inventions with the material that no one used ever: Redstone. In the legends, they said that redstone can move forces, and is extremely dangerous. Exlanious later discovered that it is very useful, and can automate things when the conditions are just right! he created a hidden lair in the Frozen Pines, and continued to invent experiment with this new thing. 

 

Sometimes, Exlanious is very sad of his loss of parents, but he never gave up faith. He always believed that his parents are out there, waiting for him to find them, and unlock something more powerful, more beautiful than anything imaginable. He know deep inside his heart that his parents is alive.

Physical Description: Exlanious is slim and tall for his kind, and his purple eyes give an expression of intelligence, and curiosity. He also keeps himself very clean.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø You must include at least one flaw in your character's interesting facts/traits. These facts/traits should be at least five-word sentences.

 

Ø Redstone may only be used for simple contraptions such as lights, not automatons. Make sure that you don’t cross this line.

 

Ø  Your powergaming definitions is correct in essence, however they are very vague and lacking in detail. Please add more to these (Maybe examples too), and refer to our LOTC Metagaming & Powergaming wiki pages for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize)
