Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Dante: Dante pauses before responding, a bit of confusion crossing his face. "Truth be told, I'm looking for new opportunities. I was raised by peasants who found me in an back alley. While they struggled to afford meals they did their best to provide for me and educate me. I tried to start up different businesses back at my old town but they couldn't flourish with how few people actually lived there. I decided to pack up my things and head out after my caretakers passed away as they were my last ties to that town. I need to make them proud and show that they raised a strong willed man, I owe them that much at least. Now that you have my life story, how in the world do you know me??"
